eXpand

eXpand - Direct access to multiple IP transit providers.

Consolidate all your IP Transit requirements by simultaneously accessing a number of IP Transit Providers through a single connection. eXpand offers users flexibility and route efficiency by simultaneously connecting to multiple providers, allowing them to take control of where their traffic goes whilst maximizing resiliency options. As traffic patterns or route preferences change, users can also change which providers they connect to on a monthly basis. This ensures the best possible combination of providers is available at all times. The additional commercial and operational efficiencies of utilising a single supply contract provides even more benefits.

Customers choose which of the available providers they wish to connect to and PacketExchange provides them with a VLAN directly to those providers and manages the provisioning directly on those providers’ networks. Customers are billed for the aggregated sum of the capacities chosen on each provider allowing them to consolidate their CDR, and realising the true potential of their volume purchasing power. Further resiliency can be achieved by connecting to multiple providers through taking an optional second connection.

Why choose eXpand?

  • To gain maximum flexibility in the choice of service providers
  • To eliminate the complexity of managing multiple provider relationships
  • To have one bill, one integrated SLA, one support number, one relationship
  • To increase purchasing power by buying in volume
  • To select the best network for each destination
  • To aggregate the benefits of a mix of service providers

Our customers connect directly into a global Tier 1 backbone and immediately benefit from superior network performance and extensive connectivity to the rest of the Internet.
